About Bishop Sullivan

Julian Bishop – The Founder of Bishop Sullivan joined the letting industry in the late 90’s. The Lettings industry has changed dramatically since then – all you needed to create a Tenancy was two signed contracts by Facsimile, a copy of a passport, a letter from employer, gas safety and some money. There have been many regulatory measures brought in since, mostly for the good. Sadly it is no longer possible to move someone into a property within a few hours or days if you are looking to follow best practice. Never liking to roll the dice Julian has always preferred to do things by the book. His 9 years in Central London taught him that when dealing with people, service comes before everything, legal and market knowledge is essential and markets can change rapidly.

So why did he set up Bishop Sullivan lettings? Julian does not like working in an industry which is often scored similarly to politicians and journalists in the Ipsos Mori ‘ Veracity Index’. He wanted to set up an agency which leads from the front when it comes to service standards and compliance so Landlords and Tenants alike can feel confident their interests are being looked after.

The 2020/2021 Gold British Property Award winning Bishop Sullivan provides a modern approach to the Letting process with digital signing, an app for logging maintenance as well as a resource for all things relating to the property and Tenancy, a utility provider who can set up new Tenancy accounts free of charge and finally quality video tours and floor plans included with every property. We also offer an ‘all-in’ fee for Landlords making monthly budgeting very easy. All designed to make Landlord’s and Tenant’s lives easier whether a standard Tenancy or a professional sharer HMO management service. Whether you are searching ‘HMO letting agent Brighton’, ‘HMO letting agent Hove’ or just ‘letting agent Brighton and Hove’ we aim to be your first choice.
